it's almost the end of the winter break, recently, universities in xi'an are releasing the official notification with detailed requirements for returning to school. let's check out!(the article so far covered just part of the universities who have released the notice, we will keep you posted for others shortly)

xi’an university of technology

students shall return from february 21st to 27th in a staggered manner.

students who are planning to return to school shall meet below conditions:

1. green health code and digital travel record.

2. 14 days before returning to school, the student has no fever, vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms, with normal health monitoring records.

3. negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours before returning to school.

4. in the nearest 14 days, the student or his or her family has not visited medium or high-risk areas and the corresponding counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities), nor did the student make a transfer at these areas.

★for students who return from medium or high-risk areas or have visited medium or high-risk areas and the corresponding counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities), and for those who have close contacts or whose activities intersected with the confirmed cases and their close contacts, returning to school shall be postponed.  

xi’an international university

students shall register on march 5th and 6th, classes officially start on march 7th.

conditions to meet for returning to school：

1. all returning students, faculty and staff shall have self-monitoring at least 14 days in advance per the required return time, with temperature monitoring records and daily reporting; for those who are in abnormal health conditions, returning to school shall be postponed. 

2. green health code and digital travel record, as well as the negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours;

3.  in the nearest 14 days, if the student and teacher have visited medium or high-risk areas, returning to school shall be postponed;

4. foreign students and teachers outside of china are not allowed to enter the country without the permission of the university; foreign students and teachers who stay in the country are under the same management and epidemic prevention requirements as those for domestic students and teachers；

5. students are not allowed to return to school earlier than required.

northwest a&f university

students shall register on february 19th and 20th, classes officially start on february 21st (mon).

teachers and students who shall not return to school for now：

1.those who are staying at medium and high-risk areas and the corresponding counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities);

2.those who have visited medium and high-risk areas and the corresponding counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities) in the nearest 14 days;

3.those who have yellow or red health codes;

4.those who have suspected symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat and diarrhea.

xi’an shiyou university

students shall return from february 26th to 28th in a staggered manner. students are not allowed to return to school earlier than required.

requirements for returning to school:

1.for students and teachers who are from medium or high-risk areas, or in the nearest 14 days, the student and teacher have visited medium or high-risk areas, returning to school shall be postponed. (designated risk areas are subject to the official release on the mini program of state council); foreign students and faculty currently outside of china are not allowed to return to school without permission from the university; students and faculty from hong kong, macau and taiwan shall refer to this policy；

2.all returning students, faculty and staff shall have self-monitoring at least 14 days in advance per the required return time, with temperature monitoring records and daily reporting; they shall also take daily health monitoring after returning to school；

3.returning students, faculty and staff must present the negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours, take the temperature test and present health code and digital travel record；

4.all returning students, faculty and staff must return to school in an orderly manner per the specific return notification requirements of the personnel, academic staff (research staff) and other related departments, respectively；

5. if the epidemic prevention and control situation or the local epidemic prevention and control requirements change, the arrangements for returning to school will be adjusted in time with further notification.
