september 7, 8 or 9 of the gregorian calendar marks the beginning of the "white dew", the 15th solar term and the third one during the fall. the temperature declines gradually, and the air's vapours often condense into white dew on the grass and trees at night. when the morning comes, sunshine makes them look crystal clear, spotless white and adorable, and thus is called "white dew".
